The work week is s l o w l y drawing to a close. It has been BRUTAL; and my body is suffering in consequence. Extra labour is required to scrub down the multitude of suites. We are forcing ourselves into tight corners to get areas clean and bending over and over again, which our poor backs don’t like. We are scrubbing huge areas of walls and inside stoves and fridges(need gas masks for the latter, lol) and our hands and wrists ache at night.
Can you imagine (if you will indulge me for a minute) never cleaning your shower ; gross huh? Instead of white plastic, the colour is a wierd GREEN or turquoise. The dirt is practically embedded into the plastic surface.
I cannot imagine taking a shower in such a contaminated enclosure. The mould alone would be released by tenfolds the moment the hot water tap was turned on.
The bacteria happily multiplying everywhere would be entranced at the possibility of a new willing host suddenly close enough to inhabit.
Instead of getting clean you’d be getting SICK!
Ok I won’t gross my gentle readers out anymore today. I am about to have a comforting cup of Earl Grey tea.
Tomorrow is TGIF(thank God indeed!)

I AM sorry you had such a bad week
heres to a better week starting monday
thanks Kaylee!
((hugs))
It is amazing how so many students are happy (or is it oblivious?!) to live in utter squalor! The thing is, I don’t think they’d even care if you showed them slides of all the creepie crawlies and germs that are living in their bathrooms and kitchens. They’d just shrug.
Oblivious is RIGHT!!!
Exactly, they WOULD just shrug!
I don’t know HOW you do your job, I really don’t! It’s bad enough cleaning my own bathroom and it’s certainly not in the state you are describing.
Sometimes I don’t know either; the only positive thing is that it won’t be like this for ever.
PlUS more $..lol
Hang in there, only one more day to go!
Thanks Hannah!
((hugs))
Yuck about the showers. Mold is scary.
YES, VERY!!!
some day go to youtube and look up how men and women shower differently.
I think the key words are man, woman shower.
LOL yes indeed they do!
I will look that up!
I have one “client” that blows his nose in the shower for the two weeks I am gone. So I know how you feel.
Yuck.
yuck indeed..
Must have been a long winter for those bunnies!
Yes they are certainly enjoying the better weather!
