He is getting one to one care there and is actually getting his sense of humour back which is a great sign. He also said ,”This is boring!”..lol.
His daughter and law and son came up to visit for a while and he was making them laugh.
He has to see an ear nose and throat doctor about his sinus pain and throat pain( the later which is NOT from his heart, thank goodness..)
So he might have a few more days in but at least they are addressing EVERYTHING>
The infection made his blood pressure go down too low(which is why they moved him into ICU) but now that they have pinpointed the bug(e coli!!!!) he is getting a sepicfic drug which is already making the blood pressure in a better range.
He is very anxious and being given stuff for THAT: yet it is not the cause of his heart issue.
They still have to send him for a test to check the electrical workings, but have to wait until he is more stable.
SOOO I was there all day until just now when the nurse kicked me out. I will go back for an hour before the evening..(they don’t allow visitors from 7 pm to 9pm) and I am not going up later than that.
So frustrating, but good that he is being cared for so well.
