One book that I am actually re- reading right now, is an autobiography which takes place in the gloriously beautiful island of Corfu and is called, “My Family and Other Animals” by Gerald Durrel.
It is the wonderful story of the author’s early years living in Corfu with his VERY eccentric family.
RECOMMENDED !!!
(As are all of his works, but his stories about his family are particularly winning..)
