hmmm, this is a controversial idea.
YES I could do it, and YES I DO do it…
When we go on holiday, we go for a month(no holidays the rest of the year, but it’s totally worth it) and as we have no lap top computer we are without the Internet.
Sure one could use one of the internet cafes, but they are DREADFUL; the computers are usually old and ALWAYS really slow, plus one is unpleasantly aware that the spotty little young man that collects ones money is able to hack into whatever one is doing.
We HAD to use a cafe last year; it was to book a flight from the island we were on, to the island H’s son was on. After laboriously getting the booking done we both swore that we would never use an internet cafe again.
But apart from that necessity, I didn’t miss my computer, nor any thing on the Internet. I was, instead bonding with my dear H and enjoying the sun and sea.
