I was a cook for a few years and in spite of the intense pressures that accompany such occupations, I loved it; still do!
I make mistakes probably more than the average chef; I sometimes miss a important part because I think that I know what I am cooking /doing..lol.

I love when the time reverts back to it’s, “proper”, time in the autumn.
Not that I don’t LOVE spring and summer(in fact they are my favourite seasons) but it is really nice to have the “extra” hour and to feel like one has more in sync with the actual geographical time.

We had a terrific thunder and lightning storm last night. It started around 7 pm after the sky went that strange orangey colour (which you know means a storm) and while it started, we had a gorgeous rainbow(a double ) at the same time…

It has been predicted that we will have a very dry summer, and so far it seems true.
People lament this fact and indeed it is frightening because when it is so very dry as it has been, there is such a risk for forest fires.
