thunder and lightning, oh my!

We had a terrific thunder and lightning storm last night. It started around 7 pm after the sky went that strange orangey colour (which you know means a storm) and while it started, we had a gorgeous rainbow(a double ) at the same time…

It has been predicted that we will have a very dry summer, and so far it seems true.
People lament this fact and indeed it is frightening because when it is so very dry as it has been, there is such a risk for forest fires.

HOT day!

It is blistering here, today.
We are almost up to 30 celcius(which is about 90 farenheit) a temperature that we normally do not see here until August.
It is pretty hot but with additional humidity it feels much, much hotter. I just checked; the Humidex is at 30.04.
